Thankful

We are so very thankful for our family. The boys, our new daughter, our amazing parents, siblings, and extended family.

Since my Papa passed away, my mom's childhood house has been sold and will be torn down so we had to go through all the family heirlooms this weekend. It was fun and sad all at the same time and it made me miss my Mama and Papa that much more...

Anyway, looking at albums of me as a child...it is conclusive that Logan looks just like me at his age. Also, Presley at her young age who looks just like Logan is my little clone. This is exciting for me because nearly everyone sees only Heath in our kids...it's fun to see how much they can look like both their parents all at once.

We spent Thanksgiving at my cousin Lisa's house in Corsicana. She has two horses, 3 goats, a trampoline, 4 wheeler and a swimming pool so it is lots of fun! Plus, our family has so many BOYS! Tanner, Toby, Jett, Caden, Ethan, Brayden and Logan. The girls are making a comeback though with 3 born since Logan (the youngest boy)...Charlotte, Madison and my Presley. All under 1 year...the future should be fun for them since they all have brothers and no sisters!

Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the day...

Weekend is OVER?

So, Heath and I are addicted to dining out all weekend long. Friday night he got home later than normal from work so we didn't go out and Saturday Presley developed a cough and stuffy nose (Thanks, boys!) so we didn't leave the house. Now it's Sunday evening and it could be Wednesday cause we haven't left the house.

Exciting news...I made it to the gym today...I can't remember the last time I went to the actual gym. It was nice. No promises though.

Sunday while Logan, Presley and I caught up on some much needed sleep Daddy and Caden went for a "Boy Adventure". Here are some of there shots:

Lots of geese...

Presley is cooing and so stinking adorable, I can't resist taking constant pictures of her.

Sick, Cake and Church

Logan has Bronchitis....poor baby was so sick yesterday he couldn't even play. He's feeling better today though.

Caden spent the day with Nana and Poppa so Logan could get some rest.
Pictures say it all, he had a great time.

$20 for Icing and cake supplies, Spending the afternoon decorating a cake for no reason in order to see this expression on your grandson's face....Priceless. Thanks Nana and Poppa!!!

My friend Wendy always takes the cutest pictures of her daughter before church. I decided to start doing this...I mean I go to all the trouble of getting three kids dressed up for church...might as well capture the moment. Pretty sure it's impossible to get a good shot of three kids at once.

No, I did not say to act goofy here..

Little mishaps...

Presley was in laying on the floor on a blanket while I straightened up. When I walked back into the living room there were couch pillows surrounding her and her blanket was covering every square inch of her body except her face. I RAN over to rescue her and she was content as could be in her "House" as Logan explained.

I fell down the stairs and bruised my tail bone...No babies were in tow at the time Thank goodness. Logan kept saying, I kiss your Butt, mommy, to feel better. Caden got a kick out of that.

Caden was instructed to talk to Presley and give her a Paci while I laid Logan down for a nap. When I came back she was laying there with a shoe propping up her paci in her mouth. Caden was upstairs playing. Nice...it's what you get when you leave a 5 year old in charge!

I was on the phone with the cable company and Caden said, Mom, Please stop blogging!!! OOPS, guess I can get carried away with this thing while I am home!!!

Maternity Leave

Caden was supposed to be in preschool while I was home...we had a little mishap with our plans and he has been home with us...which I wouldn't change for the world...spending these 12 weeks with all three of kids is such a special time. They never again will be 5, 2 1/2, and a newborn. We just have to be creative in keeping him entertained... Presley being such a big girl!!! Videoing my daughter has become a challenge...

Girls Night/Boys Night

I love having a daughter. I love when Heath says "Where's my girls". My friend Krystal had girls over Friday night and she had her daughter Riley with her and invited Presley and I. It was so fun. Heath had a boys night and they went to see Madagascar 2. Logan's new favorite song is I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT.

Saturday Heath did Gymnastics with Logan and then we went to Hayley's 6th Birthday Party at Times Square...who would of known that the boys LOVE to bowl. They had an absolute blast.

At Gymnastics I got some good shots of Presley smiling. This is an 'official' smile because she does it when I talk to her. She is the most responsive when she first wakes up and her eyes are still closed.

Sunday after church we got Kung Fu Panda, which Logan calls Kung Pu Nanna. So after a LONG walk to the park with two strollers we had family movie night. By the way, we noticed that we get a lot of looks and remarks when people see us with three kids in a stroller. I want Santa to bring Caden a bike so we can ditch the second stroller and have one...but he's not real into the idea yet. We'll see.

Presley wasn't into Kung Fu...next time we'll watch Sleeping Beauty...
