Logan pretending to be Presley

Sharing, to a point.

So, everyone was worried about Logan being jealous of Presley...and I knew he wouldn't be...except maybe at night. So far no issues, but she's also always asleep. The other night we were reading and she was up and Heath was not home so Logan had to share Mommy at bedtime.

Caden tried to keep Presley with him...she was as enthuisastic as him.



So, Logan decided if she's next to Mommy, I might as well join her...




After the boys fell asleep, I took this picture in the dark. Smart girl, sleep with one eye open in this bed!!!

Presley's Pretend Photo Shoot

It gets a little, well what's the word, certainly not boring, but routine around our house these days with being home and having 3 little ones. I am a big fan of getting out but with three, it takes a lot of effort.

So, to entertain myself, I gave Presley a little photo shoot.







She is still doing really well, she's awake much more and really seems to know her surroundings. When on her tummy she has rolled over three times. I don't really count it because it wasn't intentional, but it reminds me of how mobile Logan was so young.

At her two week appointment she'd gained a pound and grown an inch and a quarter putting her in the 50% and 67% respectively, which might not mean too much to you but both the boys have always been 5 or 10% so this is exciting! Everyone says her hands and fingers are really big/long. No, she won't be the next basketball star...I am thinking Olympic Bars Contender!!

Our weekend...

Friday night Caden and Logan went to Nana and Poppa's so that Heath and I could go out to dinner. (Presley came with us)...

Heath took Logan to gymnastics and he did much better than he did with me last week. He wanted me to hold him the entire class last week since Baby Presley was in the waiting room with Daddy.

Then we went to a birthday party and over to Trey and Krystal's to watch football. Caden and Logan played so well with Baby Riley (eight months) which made me flash forward to when Presley is crawling around...

Big Brother & Sweet Angel Video

Logan is such a good little brother to Caden. He lets Caden call all the shots and is just so thrilled to have any attention from Caden at all. But he is even a better Big Brother. He is absolutely obsessed with Baby Presley (Baby Sessy) and wants her within arm reach at all times.






Here is the general mood of Presley when she is awake. She never cries and rarely even whines. I have to wake her to get her to eat...she is such a wonderful baby...

5 things I've learned from my daughter

1. Breastfed babies can have stinky poops. I didn't think so before Miss Presley was born.

2. A two year old in a diaper -- looks akward.



3. Tooties, snorts and cries can be simple adorable.

4. Seeing my husband love another lady as much as he loves me, can be highly rewarding.


5. Older brothers can be a good thing! (this one is for you, Robbie)

New Pictures

Adapting to our new world

So far, so good. Presley is no more jaundice!!!! Logan had gymnastics this morning with Daddy and had a great time. Caden started preschool Friday and loves it.

We all gave Presley her fisrt bath...her hair is so curly after it's wet. She seemed to enjoy the bath and it really woke her up. She also watched her first Saturday morning round of the Disney Channel cartoons. Heath and both boys have been able to give her a bottle of Mommy Milk as Logan calls it. She's doing excellent at nursing and the bottle. She gained 2 oz in 24 hours...so she's really adapting well.

Day 2 and 3

Logan loved on Presley before bed her first night home. He is the sweetest, gentlist child. He handles her better than most adults would...played with her hair and tickled her arm. Everytime she cried or moaned he grabbed her hand.





Today she had her two day checkup and she is still jaundice, we had her levels tested and I have her sunbathing...she'll go back tomorrow to make sure it's not getting worse.
