Little People

I adore how different each of my kids are....

Caden is neurotic to the core -- he is a complete cross of Heath and I.  He is asleep at 9 awake at 6...he is so predictable and so scholarly.  He was so pumped about his 1 in binder with loose leaf paper. 

 Logan is a practical Joker - his Daddy's son, with a smile and charisma that can take your breath away...he is such a cool kid and so very happy.

Presley is me!  She is so into her hair! She is obsessed with magazines and finding hair like hers. When you ask her how old she is - she usually responds 5. Her two best friends are Cash and Kash (both boys). She thinks she is pretty much the center of the universe -- I just LOVE it!!!

First Day of School x2

Today is Logan's first day of Kindergarten and Caden's first day of 2nd grade.  They are very excited to be together at school.  Presley even got to move up to Miss Stephanie's 3 year old room!

Logan did great - no one cried in our family even though we saw lots of tears flowing from other parents/kids...we like to think our kids are well adjusted...either that or we are all made of stone!

We are very proud of our little men - they are growing up so fast!  

It's been too long

So, my camera isn't working....well really the battery's don't work and I want a new one - so I am convincing myself the entire camera broke...so below pictures are from my phone.

Anyway, we started Flag Football this week - we have practice four days a week b/t Caden and Logan and we are gearing up for school - Caden starting 2nd and Logan in Kindergarten!!!  They are very excited and picked out matching backpacks and tennis shoes.  Heath got them Forrest Gump movie and now they quote it nonstop - it's cute -- but can get rather old....especially since Logan has adopted the accent for everything he says.

Miss Priss is moving to the 3 year old class in a few weeks and is sassy as ever.  We got her some curlers but her little hair is just straight as a board!  She is also in the habit of looking at herself in the mirror and saying "I'm gorgeous, I'm gorgeous" over and over.  We may need to work on her self esteem issues.

Log Cabin Weekend

This weekend we went to Artesian Lakes resort (formerly Chain-o-Lakes) in Cleveland, Texas for a family getaway.  The kids were very excited and we had a wonderful weekend.  Tons of Alligators, swimming (not with alligators), fishing, and relaxing!
