As you all know, Logan is quite the little love bird. Over the past month, he has been head over heels for a new girl at preschool named Ella. (She has a best friend named Lea so everything is Elwa and Weah).
At first it was cute, he would mention her after school and tell me how she played with him and this and that...then I realized he was so happy in the mornings and over the weekend has started wondering when he'd go back to school, then I realized one morning that he was wanting to see Ella. Last week he got new Spiderman shoes that light up (Gasp, I know...but don't knock themed shoes until you have a three year old to dress each morning). He was ecstatic to show her and ran in to school and went straight to her and she sort of blew him off. She actually moved on the other side of her friend. He acted like nothing and intently watched the movie...My heart sank...I wanted to go get this little girl and say DO NOT BREAK HIS HEART! HE LOVES YOU!
The next day I noticed she was a little less resistant and yesterday when I picked him up, he was holding her hand.
Yes, he's three and I don't want him in love...but at least now, she loves him back!!!
On the way home I asked him what is Ella's last name. He replied, Ella Sechrist. Wow, he has it so bad...he doesn't even realize it!!!

Happy Birthday, Caden!
My baby is six! He woke up this morning and measured himself (against his brother)and declared he was, in fact, taller!!!
Caden changed my and Heath's lives forever...Caden has taught us the rewards of loving someone more than life itself. He is an amazing boy, so hungry to learn, to experience life. He is fearless and can be quite compassionate and very spiritual. I just love him so much and thank God everyday for this miracle child!
When Caden was one I was convinced that he was the most beautiful person God had created. I am still a little envious of this hair (now why doesn't my daughter have this hair???)

And today, My little man is so excited to be six!!!

And at two, his personality was in full gear....A Thomas the Train fanatic and collector!
At three Caden was a full fledge big brother and already a bookworm! His new love, Lightning McQueen.
At Four Caden began Tball and started to expand his collections to anything that was deemed collectable!

Five days before turning five her turned into a big brother (again)!!! He was so excited to share his birthday week with his baby sister.

And today, My little man is so excited to be six!!!

My Boys!
I am so proud of all three of my boys...
This is Heath's drillship. The boys love to talk about it, they talk about it on the way to school and how Daddy showers, eats, and watches tv there (Heath may argue he doesn't watch a whole lot of TV!)

Logan is playing Tball, (It was not a good idea and I do not no why I thought it was)...he's on the Rockies and will only bat. The first game of the season he tried to take his shirt off in the left field and we had to leave halfway through the first inning. No Nap = Not a good game!
Second game went a little smoother, in that we made it the entire game. The coach even awarded Logan with the game ball -- for lasting the entire game, even though he didn't play one entire inning at a position. He played Short Stop for one batter and catcher for another batter in two separate innings.
Coach, put me in...I'm ready to play.

Logan is in the red, and I am having to stand by him so he won't run off the field.

Not enjoying fielding...

Finally, Ready to Bat!!!

Made it all the way to Home plate!!!!

Logan's #1 Fan!

Caden is also playing he's in a tball league above Logan's. What I can't get over is this is really baseball. It's competitive, they know what to do and they do a really good job at it. Is that because they are 6 or because they went through Logan's age and played already? Anyway, I am LOVING watching his games! Although, last night he turned to me when I told him not to forget to tag the base, that I didn't need to worry about it b/c he knew...in front of the entire stands.

A little Hoop and Hollar!

Tired little cheerleader!!!

Toes in the Water...
So Caden's new favorite country song is "Toes in the Water, A$$ in the sand, not a care in the world and a beer in my hand"...
He knows almost all of this song (it has some spanish in it as well). Tonight he sits down next to me and sings it and I looked at him, disguising my dismay and asked, "Do you know what that song means?"
He says, Yes, it means you are at the beach and you put your toes in the ocean and then you lay your back in the sand, that is called your A$$.
Fabulous...and why does every song he learns talk about beer?

Babies!
Caden asks, Mom, why is everyone we know having a baby? I said, because they want to have children like we do, his reply was simply ... I think everyone just wants to have a Presley... what a smart guy!
I wonder if she'll ever know how loved she is?
